If I didn't face lather, I would be all over that yellow one.

They look great! There are so many reasons to go into a local antique or second hand store. One is to recycle some perfectly good products. The last time I walked through Old Tyme Pottery I was amazed to see a wear house full of Chinese crap that will never be purchased by anyone. What a waste! Helps support a local business, too. Anyway, enjoy your finds. They cost less than that imported stuff, too!

perfect timing...picked up these 2 little Kiwi Green "Le Creuset" Ramekin Dishes (http://www.amazon.com/Creuset-Stoneware-7-Ounce-Stackable-Ramekin/dp/B001O9BAZA/ref=pd_sim_k_3) today at a used store (a quick search values them at $12ea or so, i paid $3/2). they look brand new, and will house a couple soaps headed my way.

bonus, turns out they are stackable too!

Measures approximately 3-4/5" diameter by 2-1/5" deep

If I may ask, what soaps?

valobra, Klar and a handmade soap from a local soapmaker (from a PIF)...plus a whack more, but those will come in jars.

now to find lids

Sounds good. I am with you on the lid thing- I like to seal in the scent of my soaps. The different scents are, for me, half the fun. Do let us know your impressions of Klar Kabinett- I have been wanting to get it and Institut Karite.

good choices and a nice variety. i've been on a soap kick lately, so scouring the used stores for little jars, clay pots etc and lidded containers. i'd rather find a hidden gem that i pay a buck or 2 for, then buy a wood bowl for $20 online (although i did buy the MWF ceramic dish)

MWF and Tabac would be about my only exceptions. There are so many other attractive dishes out there that work just as well as a wood shaving soap bowl
