I have 2 of these, (1)X2 and (1)W4. The box goes with the W4 and it is the best one. The X2 has some pitting and discoloration but would still make a good shaver. The one with the box is $25.00 and the other is $15.oo shipped conus. I take paypal alsoThe W4 is on the bottom. Picture 2-W4 is on the right. Both have the aluminum handle. Thanks,
Fred

Mild to moderate shavers. Can use a little work on the head but overall not a bad price for the lot.

What is the difference between these and the non black tip SS?

The main difference is that nearly all of the black tips have an aluminum handle,

The colored tiped razors (IMHO followed by some research) were a marketing tool used by Gillette to sell razors based on beard coarsness. The Red Tip was aggressive, the Black Tip was a moderate shaver, and the Blue Tip was a mild razor. Funny thing, they were correct. I own one of each and the Red Tip is the most aggressive of the three and the Black and Blue tip follow in that order.
