It's a British Aluminum Tech. I can tell you that much. I can't speak for the markings (or lack thereof) because I never really paid attention to them on these.

Congrats on your find.
Techs do not always get the respect they deserve. The used to make smiles by the millions each morning.

Many who regularly use a Tech report that it's at it's best when loaded with an extra sharp blade. (read Feather or Astra etc.)

Oh and just incase.....Welcome to B&B.

I have 2 Techs and with a Feather they are fantastic. With a Wilkinson Sword, not as good.

If you look HERE (http://mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Tech/Tech.htm) you'll see that handle came out in the early 60's so it's not really an early one.

Thanks guys, good advice. I couldn't wait for an online order so i went down to my local old school barber shop on the hunt for some feathers or astra sp's. Got me a 5pk of feathers wooohooo lol

A cpl of days ago i had no idea what i was talking about (still dont lol) and i thought that because the razor had no logo it was really early made before Gillette started using the logo lol.

Thanks for the link Tom! Extremely helpful.

Mine looks like it could be a 1963 aluminium or even a 1972 nickel plated. I don't know how to tell the difference but i do know the handle is really light. One thing i'm pretty sure of is that this style handle tech with no date code seem to have come from some sort of kit. I have seen a couple of kits with this style tech without date codes.
