Greetings everyone!!

Wanted to drop in to say hello to everyone as I am just starting out with wet shaving. I'll give a little background how I wound up here:

I have always used cartridge razors up until now at 25 years old. Lately I am tired of bumps and itching to deal with after shaving and thought maybe a DE razor may be the cure. If not, it seems to be a way to enjoy a little me time and a new manly hobby as well as refreshing to think this is how my grandfather did it when he was my age. Also, it appears wet shaving is in the minority now a days and who doesn't like to be a little different than everyone else?? :001_tt2:

Being that I know next to nothing about the practice, I went to google and stumbled upon this website and after lurking for a few days I can only say thank you to everyone that's posted because through what I've read I feel much more confident in taking my first shave.

Best wishes to everyone on for a Happy and Healthy 2012!!!

Regards,

AmStrat

Welcome to B&B.

For a good starting off point look at the information at this post (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=71700). The information there will direct you to where you can get answers to most of your shaving questions. Plus, it’s always a good idea to read the wikis and stickies. And, don’t forget; if you have any questions just ask.
