Hello everyone, a quick introduction.

For the last year my wife and myself have been making soap at home mostly as a hobby. While she was making great bath soaps, I was banging my head against a wall to make a decent shaving soap. With some help from B&B members, I was finally able to make something decent.

Some of you have encouraged me to market the product a little to see what would happen so I decided it was time to contribute to the forum as a hobbyist. My goals are very simple. First, I want to make some room in the house to be able to make more soap for myself. A batch will give me 5 to 10 soaps, and most of you know constantly using the same fragrance can be boring so I figured it was time to spread the joy. My secondary goal is to finance my razor and razor blade addiction dissorders. As an FYI, these are not simply bath soaps with added clay.

I have put some of the products on sale on ebay (Buy it now). The soaps are 3 inch rounds and since they were hand cut they vary in weight a little bit. Most are in the 2.2 to 3.0 oz range. I am selling these for 5$ each. If you look at the listing you will find the shipping price is a little steep. I used ebay's calculator but I intend to reimburse any difference if the actual cost is lower when I arrive at the post office.

If anyone would be interested in a custom batch, let's say with or without clay, a specific scent or even slight changes to the formulation, please get in touch with me, I would love to hear your ideas
