Wow, I didn't realize it until I sat down to at my computer that it was the 2 month anniversary of my DE journey, but tonight I had the best shave ever. I don't know if it was just a great synergistic match of parts or I did something right. I have been getting good shaves but tonight when I started my WTG pass I thought did I not put a blade in? But then I could hear the whiskers being cut. It continued to be the best shave all the way through 3 passes and no sting from the alum bar. Here is what I used tonight.
EJ DE89BA with a Gillette 7 O'clock Blue (2nd shave)
QCS Queen Charlotte sample (first time)
GFT Sandal Wood Skin Food pre and post shave.
Alum block
