Looking at a Truefitt & Hill Brush, the Compact Super Badger. http://www.truefittandhill.com/detail_10001__17.html

According to this- http://sharpologist.com/2011/10/shaving-brush-buyers-guide-part-2-truefitt-hill.html it's specs are

Loft: 35mm (the same as a Wee Scot)
Knot: 19mm
Handle: 35mm
Making OAL: 70mm

People say those are rebranded brushes, what would this one be?

I know I read about the different grades of badger, but I can't seem to find it again, remind me of the differences between Silvertip and Super.

I am enjoying face lathering more and am really getting into sticks. I even tried rubbing a puck of Provence Sante on like a stick (that was a good shave). I get the impression from reading other posts that face latherers seem to prefer a short loft (acknowledging that not everyone is anything, or YMMV).

My only real brush is a Col Conk Pure Badger with a 50mm loft. I like it but it seems to spread out a great deal so the shaft of the bristles are in contact with the skin instead of the tips. I guess that is what people mean by flop.

Does anyone have any experience with that brush?

Any comments, recommendations, or musings?
