UPDATE: Futur is SOLD and price reduced AGAIN on Shavemac

I'm doing some cleaning house as I've spent way too much money on shaving gear that I rarely use (which never happens to anyone else on this blog, I'm sure). Both of these items are fairly new and in very good condition. I've sanitized the razor with Barbicide and have cleaned the brush thoroughly with vinegar and dish soap. Prices include USPS First Class shipping with Delivery Confirmation, and I will ship within 48 hours of receiving payment. Paypal only please.

1. Shavemac 410 Silvertip 23mm - $90 ****REDUCED PRICE: $75****
This is an incredibly dense, incredibly soft bulb-shaped brush that works wonderfully for creams and fairly well for many soaps as well. Unfortunately, because of its softness and density, I haven't been able to get it to work well on MWF. Since MWF is my go-to soap, I have to bid this brush farewell. Its price brand-new is over $110. It is less than a year old and will ship in the original box. Note that this is Shavemac's standard silvertip grade, not the pricier D01.

2. Merkur Futur Satin - $50 - SOLD
Not much needs to be said about the Futur as it seems to be one of the most-discussed razors on this forum. This one is in near-mint condition with no loss of plating. The adjustment and blade-holding springs are in perfect condition. I am getting rid of this one as it is too aggressive of a razor for my shaving style; I am much more at home with the likes of a 40's SS.

Smart buy - I missed it by that much.

I picked up the 177 earlier and was eyeing this as a part of a shavemac ebony/ivory rotation.

Surprising thing about the 177 is that the knot doesn't feel that soft when dry. But once you hit it with the soap/cream it is
truly a wonderfully soft brush on the face - my understanding is that this is the same brush, in Ebony.

Yup, the 410 is the exact same brush as the 177 but with a different handle. This brush is so soft I basically don't even feel that it's there when I'm lathering up. I will let you know if the sale falls through.
