Selling my Dubl Duck Stainless. One of my first straights, thought I was going to collect ducks but they are way too expensive so I am selling this to add others to my collection. As I said Dubl Ducks are getting expensive and the Stainless is one of the rarest of them. I have shaved with this razor but it could use a little more honing. Razor is in very good shape with some small scratches on the blade. It looks as though a prior owner used a stropping machine on it to strop. The kind that the blade slides into a holder of some sort. The scales are in good shape with only the slightest of warpage. They are tight and still center the blade. Asking $250.00 + shipping.

Im not an expert on dubl ducks but your price may be on the high side. If you do a search for dubl duck on the forum you can see the prices they can fetch.
I humbly retract my comment with apologies to jk3campbell. Now to go pull my foot out of my mouth......

I won't comment on the price, but I will say that Dubl Duck Stainless razors are very, very rare. I can't remember the last time I've seen one on eBay. Definitely have seen more lifetimes than stainless' in my couple years of watching. Dubl Duck Goldedges, satinedges, and even wonderedges are actually very common. Stainless, not so much.

The only stainless i've seen talked about here for sale was one that went for $500 in a classified from another site. Holly someone or another sold it. There was one in August I think on ebay that went for $200 and that is the only one I've seen on ebay in 2 years. The stainless is extremely rare because they began making them just prior to going out of the razor making business. A google search of the entire interwebs only produces a few mentions of them at all.

This is no ordinary Duck.....it is extremely rare, and the price is quite good IMO.

looks like it has had a little honing but not much if any sign of wear on the spine.

Awesome! I never knew these existed. I wonder in reality if the blade is any different from a Special No. 1.
