Question about buying Montale

Can one of you who have ordered from Montale answer a couple of questions?
Do they offer the 20ml free bottle if you order two 50ml bottles, or only when you order a 100ml bottle?
Will they concentrate any of their fragrances, even the 20ml freebie?

Yes and Yes

...although, I'm sure it goes without saying that asking very nicely also helps get best answers. I've also heard that they do NOT recommend adding concentrate to some of their frags, that would be something to consider as well.

How have your experiences with Celine been? To me she's extremely professional and by no means rude, but certainly blunt in my email dealings with her (no pleasantries etc). I understand that English is not going to be her first language, and I know I've been spoiled by having such friendly vendors from B&B with whom to deal. Nevertheless, I'm keen to find out your thoughts.

It sure as hell won't stop me ordering from Montale (placed an order last night).

I sent an email requesting sample cards, and received three of them in the mail the next week. No niceties, simply a direct and pragmatic response to my request. And fast.

Has anyone tried Silver Oud?

Sliver Aoud? Never tried it, but looking on the BaseNotes reviews, it's nothing spectacular. Montale's version of a fougere - lavender, other herbs and citrus, but with Montale's standard Oud and increased power.

Any idea what a 50ml bottle costs from Montale? I can't seem to find any indication on the website. I have some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket. Really wanting some Red Aoud...

Can tell you that I was at "The Perfumed Court" a day or two ago looking a Montales, and there were a couple on special. Don't recall which ones and have no idea have special the special price is!

Typically, the oud based fragrances cost 65 Euros (~$88)and the others are 45 Euros (~$60).

Omega makes stands designed specifically for the pro 48 and 49

That's a good guide - I think I paid 55 Euro each for a 50mL of the Arabian Leather and a 50mL of the Black Aoud. The Black Musk also falls under this price point.

The Full Incence and Aoud Safran were quoted @ 65 Euro for a 50mL, so they're a little more expensive.
