for the first 27 years of my life I was your typical shaver. I used every new razor on the market. Then last year right before my birthday I was tired of the same old shave. So I ordered an Edwin Jagger DE89, a sample pack of blades, a pure badger brush and some shaving cream and started wet shaving. I have been wet shaving for a year now and love it. My favorite razor is my Gillette Slim (I am getting a Merkur Progress today) and there are several blades that I like. For shaving cream I use TOBS Sandalwood and C.O. Bigelow. I am so glad that I am now a shave-a-holic. Now I just need to get a Feather Stainless Steel Razor.

Also, do anyone know of an aftershave that leaves your face feeling cool like the C.O. Bigelow does while shaving?

Great story, mine is eerily familiar. For an aftershave splash, I like Aqua Velva, Barbasol Brisk and Pacific Rush and many like Osage Rub, Booster Polar Ice and Alcolado Glacial (I have yet to try those yet). Happy shaving to you.

Glad to hear of your success. Try any of the menthol AS splashes. A few are Alcolado Glacial, Aqua Velva, Proraso, Alt Innsbruck and Osage Rub.

Nice! Im using a Gillette super adjustable and also expecting a Merkur progress but with a Mer upgrade ;) As for aftershave, I use straight alcohol... then cream/lotion. Prorasso aftershave lotion is pretty good for that cool refreshing feeling.
