I love the subtle scent of sea buckthorn, in either cream or soap. Sometimes I use them together as the cream as a more pronounced aroma. But the cream is great alone and if you're familiar with the performance of Edwin Jagger creams you'll know that they deliver a great lather. As with the soap, the Jagger and Muhle versions are identical so you should buy whichever is cheaper.

Slightly fruity with traces of citrus.

I'm pretty sure that the scent of the Sea Buckthorn shave products from EJ/Muhle is not the scent of sea buckthorn, which is said to be extremely mild but rather unpleasant. I think the sea buckthorn oil is added for its skin-beneficial qualities, not for the scent. EJ/Muhle uses other oils to make the scent of their cream/soap. Mama Bear's soap with sea buckthorn oil in it is virtually unscented. Just FYI.

Craig, I have the cream, and in addition to what F&H said I get a green apple smell to it. Really nice fresh smell!!

the Muhle soap bowl is soooooooooo much nicer looking then the EJ!
