1. Taylor of Bond Street RT2S Super Badger (50x52x38)
A luxurious soft and pliant knot, good for creams. $90

2. Simpson Eagle G3 Best Badger (48x45x35)
Soft, firm, low-loft knot great for soaps. $120.

3. Rooney Heritage Stubby 2 Super Badger (46x50x35)
Extremely densely packed fan-shaped knot. $120

4. Bocote Silvertip (45x45x33)
Handle made from Bocote wood, has microscratches and one crack as seen in the picture; very pleasant soft, firm knot. $20

5. Vintage Victoria Butterscotch Silvertip Grade A (45x48x31)
Handle is in superb shape; nice knot. $50

The G3 Eagle is pretty much the only badger brush I'm using these days! You're going to make someone very happy!

I keep looking at the Rooney. Its not a 2 band, is it a previous model of Heritage or what ?

3-band Heritage, which predates the 2-band stuff. Known to have very, very soft tips and be unbelievably dense -- too dense for some.
