Every time I try to order this cream from shaveabuck, it won't let me complete processing. I get the following message:

I have not purchased one from shave a buck. but I do have a small tube that someone game me. Its probably just as old as these. I do have to use a bit more than usual. but It works great. I think I will buy one. I like the scent and its got a bit of menthol. good stuff.

you always get great service from joe at shaveabuck,anyone can get a dull blade,or a tube of cream that wasn't sealed too tight and got a little air in it.I have used 20 year old palmolive in the tube,still fine.You can't condemn a vendor for a small mishap,it happens,and you just deal with it.Anyone who gets something from joe that is not right will get the problem straightened out..

Actually ordered from there about a month as it's only one state over and has a good array of products. I specifically wanted both Wilkinson and Valobra Shave Sticks to try out, figured ordering from one place would save on shipping, and needed them fairly soon for a trip I had planned requiring me to fly (didn't wanna load up my 3-1-1 bag with creams).

My order came promptly, and S&H charges were reasonable. I had mentioned in the comments that I found him through B&B and was planning on using the shave sticks for travel so to top it all of he included a tube of travel-sized Lea brushless cream and aftershave samples. Granted the Lea cream didn't work well for me during the trip (AS was alright) but it was certainly an appreciated gesture. Enough so that I checked out the site more thoroughly after the trip and noticed some good deals like this one before. Noticed quite a few inexpensive products I'd like to try now...

My package arrived today. It was apparently shipped fifteen minutes after I ordered, so that was quite impressive.

As for the cream, it has a blue/purple hue and the texture is not totally uniform. I did a test palm lather, which went okay, though I think I had to use slightly more than some other creams for a similar amount of lather. I found the smell to be a bit funky, but I'm not sure if it's spoiled or that's how it is supposed to smell. I'll shave with it tomorrow and report back.

....guys, i tried to cancel my order after reading all the negative comments. i sent an email to Joe to cancel my order, but it was ignored.

.........well, i received my 3 tubes of Lavanda yesterday, and shaved with it this morning......

............and like dirkstruan above, the cream was blue/purple and the texture was odd. it smelled OK, and it produced a good lather...

......actually no problems at all.......

.....so if my face doesn't breakout......... it wasn't a bad deal after all, even if the cream is way past its expiration date....

.............so if expired Lavanda is good ......... the fresh stuff must be absolutely killer stuff...............
