As the seasons are turning here in South Dakota I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to combinations that work well to be the heat. They don't need to be anything protection related, just maybe something that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and ready to brave below freezing weather.

Tabac! It definitely gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling. We just got a snowstorm here in northern Colorado, and I always reach for Tabac when it's cold.

+1!
Or a good Sandalwood... Or a Mama Bears (Sue has quite a few that sound wonderful for winter!)

Ogalalla Bay Rum has a very warm scent to it. Plus, it's only $4.50 for a puck that lasted me a year (probably 4-5 months for the daily shaver).

The burn of Old Spice in the morning will help keep your face from freezing.

I reach for the poraso to trim the edges. Why? Because bugger the cold, my beard will protect me. Once its done growing back in. After Thanksgiving. Because that's when I start growing it.

Ordinarily i use Proraso everyday, including Winter. This Winter, I'll be trying Cella - my tub just arrived!

I expect I'll be reaching for Clubman Special Reserve and Gillette Cool Wave in the colder months.

Pinauld Bay Rum will warm up any shave
Ogallala Bay Rum with Sandalwood, or the Cedar-Sage variety, followed by a higher probability of the use of a balm for protection against dried skin.

I agree with the almond, sandalwood and Tabac suggestions.
Vanilla and coconut come to mind, as well as Mama Bear's Aromatic Pipe Tobacco.
mmmm....toasty....

Ohhhh, man. My cella arrived by post yesterday, and I shaved with it this morning. long story short, I think I've found my new favorite shave soap, possibly year round!
