I normally love the old school ads from Gillette and Schick. In fact, if I ever find one in the antique stores I scour in my RAD phases, I might pick one up to frame for the bathroom.

I would not hang this ad (for a mechanical Schick) anywhere but on the advertising wall of shame:

Shick razors: sharp enough to shave the victims of terrible tragedies (http://vintage-ads.livejournal.com/2963754.html)

I would say the "How Much Better For a Normal Face" is marketing...just my opinion :bored:

Read carefully....

No blades, no lather... and the picture, $15 AC & DC.
It's for an electric.

What do you expect? Traditional class?
That ad ushered in the modern era where politeness and consideration for others has gone the way of the Tech Ball-End.

I did mention it's "Mechanical" - their term. Anyway, I do hope it's fake.

I enjoyed reviewing the "Old Gillette Razor" ads on You Tube with the baseball stars of decades ago. I also like the old baseball footage, of games played in the old parks, with the GEM and STAR advertisement billboards on the outfield fences. Ebbets field, Forbes Field, The Polo Grounds, Old Yankee Stadium etc....

Lots of nostalgia that we'll never see again in everyday life......

Looks more like an advertisement for a "Led Zepplin" album......

I don't know why, but I was immediately reminded of this:

A few more interesting ads here. (http://irresistibledisgrace.wordpress.com/2009/06/26/blow-in-her-face-and-shell-follow-you-anywhere/)
