Me too - probably could squeeze another 1 or 2 sometimes depending on the blade, number of passes, stubble length, etc. But to keep it simple, I usually change blades every 3 days. Assuming one day per week with no shave, that's 2 blades per week and roughly 100 per year.

I see both Feather DE blade, and what appears to be Feather AC blades - or Schick injector blades.... you've gotta be getting more than 3-4 shaves outta those, no?

As for me... it radically changes from year to year. For instance, the past year I don't think i've shaved with a DE much more than 2-3 times, however in prior years it was off/on with DE's - using DE's more than straights.

With the hundreds of DE blades I have.... i have about 30 lifetimes worth :biggrin:

I usually get 3-4 shaves per blade with a Derby or IP. 4 good ones out of a British Wilkinson and I've just started trying a Swede... so far 5 shaves. All shaves being 3 passes.

I usually get 5 shaves out of my prefered blades, so that would be about 73 for the year. Although, I do a lot of testing so the number is higher than that.

Hard to say for me, 'cause I haven't settled on a DE/Str8 routine yet. Ranging anywhere from 20-40 blades a year currently (each DE blade lasting me about 2 weeks since I use a str8 also)

Blades are cheap and depending on the brand and the razor I use I get 1 to 5 shaves a blade...

They get dull I chuck em (1 shave or 5)...

After all we are supposed to ...
