Today was finally my first chance to experience Floid! The menthol action is amazing and the smell is pretty good too... sort of an aged, grown up version of Booster Polar Ice. However, I'm not sure I would spring $35 plus shipping for a bottle since I have Polar Ice sitting on the shelf by my sink. This is something I will think about of course in due time. :)

Received the BRWAT cream yesterday, and while the consistency was a bit runny, the lather turned out to be absolutely fantastic! I followed advice here about carefully adding water PAST the point where we normally stop, and I must say it was absolutely perfect. This was my first use of an SCS cream, and I was very very impressed.

I am in hotels every week and have to make the trips feel as much like home as possible. This is the first time I have done this in about 9 months:cursing: Needless to say I had to get a disposable:scared: . My SOTD post is to tell you no mater what do not, I repeat do not forget your DE or Blade. It has been a long time and it is amazing how bad it was. Not only from the feel you get but also on your skin. I could feel it stripping my skin. I am defiantly trowing a shaver in the bag as a back up from this point forward

I recently got stranded in Seattle overnight by Air Canada and Northwest (b@$tards all!) and had to shave with the courtesy disposable at the hotel. Dude, I feel your pain!!

T&H luxury soap, lathered up by a B&B silvertip brush ... faux horn.

Scraped off twice by a Feather A/C, followed by a dash of Dickinson's witch hazel, and then a dash of Aqua Velva.

All the while, I was being observed by my GF, who was smelling all my soaps and creams. She really likes Trumper sandalwood soap (but not TOBS sandalwood!) and Mama Bear Bonsai. She was indifferent to TOBS avocado ("I thought it would be green"), but thought that T&H limes smelled like avocado! :lol:

Went to pull out my razor out of its sheath and it was not there:yikes: :cursing: . Razors are the only thing I pack everything else is in the bag and a very nice assortment but razors I like to bring different ones every time. Will also pack 2-3 depending on the link of the trip. I am in hotels every week and have to make the trips feel as much like home as possible. This is the first time I have done this in about 9 months:cursing: Needless to say I had to get a disposable:scared: . My SOTD post is to tell you no mater what do not, I repeat do not forget your DE or Blade. It has been a long time and it is amazing how bad it was. Not only from the feel you get but also on your skin. I could feel it stripping my skin. I am defiantly trowing a shaver in the bag as a back up from this point forward

I got the inspiration from you, JB. It was your "field shave" picture that did it, I guess. A nice pic says so much more about your shave than a dry enumeration of ingredients. I'm also going to experiment more with backgrounds and accessories. The only limiting factor is time...

I will be oiling my Walther PPK and SIG P226 for next week's german theme. :w00t: :w00t:

BTW, this was my best 15-round group ever, only 4 inches apart (one flyer:blushing: ) with a standard, non-modified P226 9mm at 25 yards. Fiocchi fmj 115 gr factory ammo. All shots were fired within +/- 2 minutes. I like it.:biggrin:

My shave time is like a trip to a day spa especially on weekends. I'll speed 30 min to an hour pampering myself. It makes the entire day worthwhile.

My only regret is that I can only shave once per day.
