Been shaving about 8 months now and comfortable with combination of Murker de razor, black badger brush, astra blade and cream (both truefitt & hill lavender or TOOBS jarmyn street) am thinking of changing to soap as I'm travelling next month & it means less Mess.
1) good idea?
2) what should I consider?
3) with quite sensitive scintilla what brands do you recommend?
Thanks

Try out a shave stick -Arko, Palmolive, Taylor of Old Bond Street. Easy for travel and easy to use.

Another vote for getting a soap shave stick.. Speick and Wilkinson Sword are pretty good.

+1 here. When I travel I always take along the white tub of this one.

When I travel I always take a shave stick. Currently I have Arko, Speick, Valbora, and LaToja. All work just fine.

I'll echo what a couple of the other fellas recommended...Proraso Sensitive...in the white tub. Truly nuetral shave soap, and I have sensitivity issues as well. I'd also suggest for you to consider face lathering it and to purchase an Omega #48 boar brush to go with it. The Omega #49 is the same brush but with coloured ABS handle instead of chromed ABS handle...$9-$14. Try it, if you don't care for it for whatever reason, someone will snatch it up on BST so you will only be out shipping ($2) for the brush to go to a new home. In my experience, boars do better than badger brushes when it comes to face lathering soaps. Otheres may have better and different ideas
