Has any one tried the Personna Pivot Plus twin blade carts? I'm curious to know how long they last? I get three good shaves from the Wilkinson Sword twin blade carts which is not a big problem as they are so cheap. (It's sort of funny that I get just as many shaves from a 35 cent Wilky twin blade cart as I do from a $4.00 Fusion cart.)

I've seen the Personna carts online and they are also quite inexpensive. I was wondering if anyone here has tried them and can offer some feedback. How many shaves before they bite the dust, etc?

I have tried the Wilkinson Sword, Dollar General Dorco, and the Personna Twin Bladed Carts. I found the dual fit Personna Pivot Plus carts to be the worst of the bunch; they tend to pull even when fresh out of the box. If I remember correctly, I think I decided to use them for 1 shave, and toss, just to get rid of them.

The Wilkinson Sword is the best quality out of what is easily available.

Not sure if you are using the Trac II, or Atra, but Gillette makes the Gillette Vector (basically the Atra under a different name) in other parts of the world (such as India), and the carts can be acquired off of Ebay for a quite good price (I paid $22 shipped for 32 carts, or .69 cents each) so those could definitely be an option. I just acquired them recently, so I can't give a report on how they compare with the Wilkinson Sword carts.

Agree with John that the Wilkys are far superior to the Personnas. I don't care for the Dorcos at all, though.

I can easily get 5 shaves out of a Wilky, sometimes 6. Palm strop between shaves after shave 3 and they work just fine.
