Hello all,
I am one week into DE shaving and I actually enjoy my shave! My setup is simple but it works for me. Merkur 38. Musgo pre shave. Proraso cream. Badger brush. Feather blade. Witch Hazel. After shave. My wife's REALLY expensive face lotion. Talc when needed. I have already found some great info here and am happy to join the fraternity.

I use the talc on especially humid days. I have always done this after cleansing and toning anyway, so I didn't see a need to change. Also, I have very oily skin so after an exfoliating scrub it becomes necessary to knock the shine down a bit. Plus it cools and soothes sensitive skin, which mine is.

Welcome. Your simple setup appears to be more than good enough. Sometimes simple is better.
