Hi folks,
I've done it. I feel a lot like I sold my soul to the devil or gave up my firstborn (I don't have kids yet so can't imagine that one). I've made my VERY FIRST listing of any kind on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6555894831&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fse arch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D6555894831%26fvi %3D1), and it is this ERN "Damascus" straight razor. Not mint by any wild stretch of the imagination, but the old girl is still good to go for a few more generations of shavers....

mods feel free to move as necessary;
feel free to ask questions, I'm pretty new to this stuff.
and no, the blade is not chipped or anything, even though for some reason the pic looks that way.

Greetings John,

Your listing looks great - clean and to the point. You may want to add a disclaimer stating that shipping to HI and AK will be the actual cost or something to that affect so you don't get soaked w/ additional shipping charges.

thanks, I'll have to look into that. I also have been told my photography could use some work. Oh well, with time....

Splitting that hair is pretty impressive! In the woodworking realm we would call that scary sharp.

Thanks Rik,
most of my blades are similar-they take a wicked sharp edge, although that doesn't always equal a good shave. This one got : Norton 4k/8k, Belgian yellow coticule, strop w/ jeweler's rouge (don't know whether it does anything, but sometimes believing is the big part) and finally a regular strop. Even now I don't always get them that sharp too easily, this one is just a case of great blade, so-so scales.
