What is everyone's favorite 3-piece open comb? I have a single ring that I absolutely love, but I am anxious to buy some other open combs due to the great shave I get from the single ring!
So what is the word, any preference?

Personally, I favor the '20s-era New Improved models (as found in the Bostonian, New Standard, and Richwood sets).
FYI - a Tech is something different... the first solid guard bar razor from Gillette (and mild to a fault, in my book).

I'll get that cleared up I edited my post but ill have to send a pm to get the title changed, and I agree as far as the solid bar 3-piece is concerned I don't think it comes close to the shave of my single ring.

I like the title, it drew me in.
I like all the open comb three piece razors, but I'd suggest a NEW. They are great shavers, and reasonably priced.

Of the ones I have used my favorite is the British Long Comb New.
When I want something a bit more aggressive I go with the New Deluxe or a New Improved.

Long Comb New for almost 50% of my shaves. New Deluxe when I have 2 or 3 days growth.

New Improved or New Deluxe, I found them to be very similar with the Deluxe slightly milder. Install a Bobs Razor Works handle and you have the ultimate razor.

Sheesh, it's hard to choose a favorite. Strangely, I like them all for different reasons. But I'd say the New Improved head gives the most interesting shaving experience and requires the most attention. I also like the short-comb New for easy, effective daily use, and frequently turn to the British long-comb New when I want a shave that's sort of in between those two, but maybe closer to the N.I. The original (Old Type) head design is also wonderful when you get the angle just right.
Well, that's about the most vague, unhelpful post I've ever done...can't help it, I like 'em.

As mentioned, this is highly subjective....for me the New deluxe is king, with the Improved big fellow, and any Improved for that matter a close second. Also as mentioned, the brit long tooth is one fine shaver as well!!! These days I find myself shaving with open combs 99.9% of the time...my beloved Exec Fatty is now just my travel razor.

between the two I have, a NEW Bar Handle and old type, I think I prefer the head and locking mechanism of the old type, but the sturdiness of the barhandle (no cracks in handle)

New Deluxe with a Bull Mastiff handle. A RAD reducer, if not completely a RAD killer.
