I got a puck of Col Conk glycerin soap, "Amber", with my order from WCS as a gift. Has anyone had any experience with this soap. Thanks in advance.

Might want to check under the reviews section but I am plenty sure many have used this soap as i see reference to col conk often on here.

I got Bay Rum with my onyx soap bowl; I'm pretty interested in this as well, since I have about 15 other soaps ahead of it I wanna try first

Not w that bar, but used there lime soap before. It was not bad, but decided I like creams better.

I went thru a puck of Col Conk Amber a few years ago and really liked it. Absolutely loved the scent. Good lather, not the best, but quite enough to do the job. I'd buy it again after I work through my 20 years' inventory of various other soaps.

It is in my current rotation. Easy to lather, does not dry or leave a residue on my face. For me, it has a very light scent that I could almost not detect. I would buy it again, but no time soon. I have some AoS and MWF waiting in line to occupy that particular bowl.

It's a good starter soap - lathers well and light pleasant smell. My gf is using the Amber right now (I have Bay rum) - it's good but there's a universe of better out there.

I am a newbie and only have Tabac soap and the sample of Col Conk. Was considering trying some mwf and some mama bear samplers. Good idea or work on my lathering with what I got?

Col Conk soaps are inexpensive and are pretty easy to use. I typically travel with either a VDH or Conk puck. I like the Amber.

I used Conk Amber for 5 years before ever trying another. Excellent soap. Don't build lather on puck, only load for for 20-30 seconds or so then move to bowl/mug/scuttle/whoever to build the lather. No need to soak Conk to soften it; that will actually help waste the soap.
