No, a P226 9mm. The best of the best, hasn't missed one round out of thousands and thousands fired. Amazing. Also a highly popular gun with LEO's in the eighties and nineties in the US. Came second in the US army trials behind the Beretta. The Beretta won because they were prepared to build a factory in the US.

There you have it the two schools of thought. Great minds...both Sig owners.
Delta, and some special ops units (seals, british sas etc) carry the 229 as well. Also Air Marshalls carry the 229 and the 226.
I, on the other hand, have always leaned towards .45 but have never said a discouraging word about a 9mm. In fact many colleagues and close friends carry various 9mm.
Regardless of the model, I can just about thread a needle with the Sig. Now, I was once fond of the HK but I lost faith in them after mine and a Dallas LEO had malfunctions in both of our primary ones.
Carry on.

if you're shooting humans at close range, .45 acp will have more 'stopping power'.
if you're plinking in the desert or on the range, 9mm is cheaper.

Agreed, but you can easily double-tap with a 9mm.

its all about placement.
Prime targets: wheels, engine, computer (without being graphic)
and oklahoma fans found out the jewels are not always an effective pressure point, who knew??

The Sig is much nicer looking than the Beretta as well.
