Creed at 50% off

I was in NYC last week. 9 Bond St. (at Lafayette) was selling off their inventory of Creed products at 50% off. Bottles of cologne were in the $75-$85 range. Quite a deal if you like the stuff.

Hmm, I wonder if it's for the same reason a local perfume shop was selling off their Creed. They can't get it anymore so were clearing their inventory. The exclusive American Creed distributer stopped providing Creed and has started marketing their own perfumes.

I can't find any confirmation of that from Google though.
