Any one ever tried it?

Not sure what you would gain (other than a soft face) or lose.

There are soaps available out there that already contain lanolin. MWF & QCS's hard soaps come immediately to mind. Pretty sure Creed's shaving soaps have lanolin, too. I'm sure there are others that I'm not remembering.

I guess you could go all mad scientist & try it yourself, but your lather would likely turn into a slimy mess. Why bother when there are soaps out there that already have lanolin in them?

Keep in mind that as far down the ingredient list as lanolin shows up in any soap (MWF included) the amount of lanolin in a full loading of soap is a fraction of a "drop". (Realizing that lanolin is solid wax at room temp...)

Much more and I would *guess* that the stability of the lather would suffer and/or your face would be greasy afterwards.
