This hat is designed by Peter Grimm. Sometimes his hats are loud and appeal to a younger crowd but this one seems nice and simple to me. The price isn't bad either. What really appeals to me about this hat though, is it seems to blend the standard fedora with a pork pie and perhaps a tiny hint of bowler as well. I think it will work with the shape of my mug.

I think I could pull this off with both casual attire (short sleeve button down and jeans) and the suit and tie as well. I was hoping some of you would be kind enough to offer up your opinion on this hat and your thoughts on what it should be worn with?

the shape and style are nice, but these are bottom of the line quality. one sure sign of cheapness is a lack of liner,and/or a cheap plastic or polyester inner band....it depends what you want to spend. hat material ,of course, should be triple X beaver,if you want lasting quality.

Gotta be a Homburg for me! My dad wore one every day when I was growing up. He's 83 now. I told him to leave his to me.

Thank you for your responses, that is exactly the kind of feedback I needed. I have no sense of quality in these kinds of hats, most of my hats have always been affordable newsboy style hats. Can anyone recommend something of similiar style to this fedora but of higher quality?

Maybe I need to visit a hat store and see how a homburg looks on me.
