Since this got buried 13 pages back I'm gonna stick it up once more (mods--I hope this is not an issue, please let me know if it is). If it doesn't trade this time I'll consider selling it.

I have for trade a Blue Lady made in the 2nd quarter of 1975 (V2) that is in fine condition. No discoloration spots on the handle, just a couple of small flattened "beads" that are barely noticeable. Plating appears to be all intact on the head, all the paint is in the stars and the doors are nice and shiny. Inside the doors there is some hard water buildup around the hole for the TTO rod that I did not go after. The only thing detracting from this razor is there are a couple of grooves on the TTO knob where there is some plate loss as seen in the pics. To be honest, I didn't even notice it till I started to give the razor a clean. Since I have another, older, Blue Lady I figured I'd put this one on the BST. I personally dislike selling things on ebay and would rather keep this in the B&B community where I know it will be appreciated and hopefully not resold on the bay.

I have recently become interested in fountain pens and have my eye on starting a nice little entry level collection. So I would like to trade for a working/restored fountain pen that is equal in value to the razor ( I figure $25-30), or I'm willing to kick in a little compensation cash ($10-15) on top of the razor.

I would like to keep this in the CONUS.

FWIW, I very much like the look of the Esterbrooks and have one SJ and J in gray so far, but would love to have one of the other colors (blue or copper preferably). But whatever you might have I'll consider.

PM me if you have something you would like me to consider.

Thanks!

I spend all of about 30 seconds setting these up. Just a plain old piece of white copy paper bent in a curve at the back and bouncing a flash off the ceiling 5 feet above. no tripod, no lightbox. Then I just add my little B&B logo onto them in the computer. That whole set of pics took me about 5 minutes from start to upload to the web.

You can check out more pics here if ya want: http://www.shanemoorephotography.smugmug.com/

Nope. I don't even own a tripod. I use a bottom of the line Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm kit lens (the only one I have) and a Nikon SB600 flash. That's it. Nothing special, I'm sorry to say, because I'd really like to have a Canon EOS 5D Mark II bodies.
