I found myself thinking of some very nice razors I want, and the list is of fair length not super insane but a list of choice picks.
Feather DE All Stainless
A few more Merkurs...I love them to death!
A few old Gillette vintages like the SS and so forth.
I'll go into more detail later, pressed for time and details but I will update, dinner calls.
What are some of the razors that you seek? Any white buffalo you are hunting that are elusive? I want to see some of those up here, I am curious as to what makes some delight in the hunt on here. I would have to say my top most wanted is the Feather All Stainless...the price is crazy, but it is pretty much a work of simplistic art.

This is a great thread idea, I've actually got my 2 most sought after razors both on the way to me right now. A Muhle R41, which may be the death of me when it gets here but I just had to try this thing and much, much more importantly, courtesy of incredibly helpful and knowledgeable B&B member MacDaddy, a Gillette Bulldog from 1914, the first year Bulldogs were made, but the real reason for wanting it, the year my Grandfather was born.

I'm still looking for a "rare" gillette for cheap. Like a red dot or a toggle....one day one day.

Red Dot...is that more commonly known as a Red Tip SS? Intresting, it seems just a SS with just a red colored adjuster. Toggles, am unfamiliar with those as well, but will look them up :)

I would love to find an early Flair Tip Aristocrat in the wild.
Other then that, a bottom dial would be pretty awesome to stumble upon.
I really don't need or want any more razors. It's not saying I wouldn't pick up an awesome bargain if I found one.

No. The Red Dot is an early version of the Fat Boy that has a red dot that indicates what setting the razor is at. Very rare and valuable.

I have been rather lucky to have found many of my personal must haves.
The RedDot is # 4 in this picture.

That's a pretty incredible adjustable question. So here's the question...did you find most of these on the Bay, or out "in the wild"?

Rather impressive collection that most would take years to collect, but I fear the availabillity of them today would extend that time even further.

My sought after prizes are Super Speeds. I'd like to one day amass a collection of one (or more) of each variant of SS. I like the 3 piece Techs and the adjustables fairly well, but they never quite bit into me like the SS did.

Thanks.....Some from B&B members, some from ebay and some in the wild. The slim is the most precious to me cause it was my Father's last razor.

If I were to have the perfect dream I would wake with with:
1903 Double Ring serial number 000001
Bottom Dial adjustable (cased with instructions etc!)
My father's DE razor (a SuperSpeed I think) - he threw it out many years ago
Is that asking too much? Not a long list - I don't want to be greedy :001_smile

Easy...First consider that I want all of these razors with cases in NOS condition if possible;
-An Executive; this one (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1960%20(F4)%20Executive%20German%20Set.JPG) or this one (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1960%20F1%20Executive.jpg). I also wouldn't mind this one (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/One-Piece%20solid%20guard%20bar/1949%20Executive%20von%20Jody%20Renaldo.jpg).
-Bottom Dial; this (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1960s%20Prototype195%205%20settings%20from%20Aric. jpg) or this (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1960%20Fatboy%20195%20F4.jpg) will do.
-British Aristocrat (probably rhodium plated...But this one is just kind of an "if I see one that looks pretty I might buy it"); this (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/One-Piece%20open%20comb/1938%20Aristocrat%2015%20rhodium.JPG) maybe this (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/One-Piece%20solid%20guard%20bar/1948%20Aristocrat%20No21.JPG).
Toggle; this one (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1958%20D1%20Gold%20Toggle.jpg).
Fatboy; this one (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1958%20Fatboy%20Redpoint%20Prototype%20D1.jpg). It happens to be a red dot, I would take either.
Finally a couple miscellaneous ones I would buy if I stumbled on; a nice military set (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Old%20Type/1918%20Military%20Set.jpg), a strange fold-a-brush (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/The%20NEW/1930%20(A2%20on%20blade)%20NEW%20Foldabrush%20Trav eler.JPG), and finally a black handled Popular (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/One-Piece%20open%20comb/1940%20(K2%20on%20blade)%20black%20Popular%20Franc e.JPG).
I also am searching for my birth year razor that is a black handled Superspeed or Adjustable date code of B-2.
Finally I actually found one of the razors I wanted which is this nice Aristocrat here (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Adjustable/1961%20(G3)%20Aristocrat%20british%20Set.JPG).
So, one down, ten to go. All ten seem to be quite costly. But I am in no hurry (B&B and wet shaving has taught me to relax and slow down a bit :) ). One day I will have them all in the condition that Mr. Razor has them in or if I am lucky better (if possible lol).

Well with Mark1966 around I am pretty sure I will find them eventually ;) . But seriously basically I just know I won't get them tomorrow (unless the BST surprises me lol). I am OK with that. I think in terms of this thread, if you are searching for something rare, wait for the perfect one. Don't settle. That for me is probably the best advice :) .

Cased #21 British Rhodium Aristocrat did I hear you say? What something like the one in my B/S/T thread (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/246429-FS-Cased-21-58-Rockets-RHODIUM-Fatboys-Adjustables-REDUCED!)?
