For that price of that chopper u can get a custom straight made to ur specs, and is new, I have that same razor and would have never spend that much on it.

A week ago a 9/8 W&B sold on Ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/190566043810?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649) for about that in better but still unrestored condition. It's way more than I would spend for a razor, but apparently its not completely out of line.

While I would never consider paying that, is not far out of the normal for this type of razor. You really gotta pay for those extra 1/8 inch once you get over 8/8, its not very common.
