for the last 5 months or so, I have had my own bathroom. Plenty of storage and counter space. Well, the stepdaughter and grandchildren moved back in. I just got finished moving all my stuff back to the one shelf I am relegated in the master bath:crying: Hell, I have to stack my soap now (although the only thing I will EVER stack on DR Harris Arlington is another DR Harris bowl :001_tt2:). I don't even have any beer to drown my sorrow. Oh, the hugh manatee.

Sorry to hear that. But I'm sure you're doing the right thing.

Yeah, I guess so. I am still gonna guilt the wife into some DR Harris Marlborough and maybe some Klar Kabinet :)

I was just thinking... maybe you could get some sympathy shave gifts out of the move.
hehe - I'm doing this too moreso so when SWMBO comes back home, she can re-place all her stuff in the bathroom.
Since I started wet shaving, I've slowly taken over the bathroom area where it had dominated every flat surface that was once filled with her stuff previously. As she's away for a bit, I put all her stuff in a basket under the sink as I was tired of moving it all every time I cleaned the bathroom. So one time, I just kept it there and my stuff started to 'creep over'.
I've recently purchased an old knife box that I've re-purposed for my razors, and started to clear space for all her creams and ointments and whatnot for her inevitable return. Hopefully with some of the neato vintage bottles and such that I've bought for this, it will look cool, be functional, and I can go back to bragging how little space all my crap takes up.
sigh, I use to be very proud of the fact that I only had 5 things in the bathroom once...
I feel your pain, my 18 yr old son just moved back. I had all my "back-ups" & some NOS stuff stored the formally spare bathroom. Now it's all in a clear plastic storage box on the floor of the master closet. For the last week I've heard questions like "what's Arko & why do you need so many"...
this calls for a secondary secured stash... you must not be thwarted!

unfortunately, he wouldn't have anywhere to put the sympathy gifts. Nice thought though...

There is only one logical response to this- bust out the hammer & build a new bathroom!
