Most excellent shave today. The Israeli Personna just mowed those 3 day whiskers right off my face.
This was my first experience with the Plisson cream. The new formula isn't as highly regarding as the original formula but it worked very well for me. I will be trying the
original formula next Monday.

Lately I've read some threads about the Mach 3 not being that bad, they are wrong! I will admit for the brief shave that I did (roughly a pass and a half) it was close, but I could feel it tugging every time I moved the razor, it was awful, after barely getting into my second pass I had to quit. I just can't shave with one of those, yuck!

Wow! The Mandarin Ice soap smells amazing and performed like a champ! I really hope Colleen makes this one a permanent part of her offerings.

Today was the first time I had tried using a straight razor even if it is just a fake straight Feather RG. A bit scary getting my hands, blade and face into the right positions and stuff but I managed a passable shave on my first outing! I'm sure I'll have stubble by 10am (I shaved at 1am EST) but once my confidence and experience with the Feather grows I'm sure things will get better. My Slant was pretty much growling and hissing at the Feather since that is my primary razor.... the Slant just barely tolerates the Schick Injector on the odd days. :em19: :em2300:

No EDT today...too hot an humid today.

First try with an Olivia product. The first pass was ok but I had too much water and the later was real thin. Tried less water for the 2nd pass and it was thicker but still seemed to dissipate rather quickly.
This soap is going to take some practice....a challenge!, I like it! (any of you parents with young kids may recognize that line).

Had a bit of razor burn so I used the Jojoba oil which took care of the burn instantly.

So what's with that frown?

The soap smells good in the plastic bag, but smells like an a very candy apple martini instead of anything having to do with mandarin oranges or gin. Also the scent does not transfer to the brush which made me wonder if I was shaving with a unscented soap this morning. :crying:

Now the Mandarin Ice soap on the other hand, that is good stuff!

Another great shave with the Vision. Didn't need the Aqua Velva as an A/S, so I just splashed some on to get the scent.

I find that I can get an almost effortless BBS with the Vision with 2 WTG passes and 1 ATG pass on the jawline.

Wonderful shave today. Haven't used the CF cream in a while but as I was preparing a sample of this cream for another member,
I decided that it was time to use it for the morning.
Just a great luxurious cream and I had no irritation or burn. I used the Jojoba oil since I really liked the way my face felt all day yesterday.

What made this shave special was this was the first time I can remember having no cuts or nicks with a Feather blade in my AC the first time out ... usually I manage to slice something, but this time it went fine. One pass and I was done!! :w00t:
