Gillette Black longevity

I'm trying to use up my sample packs and have been working on a pack of Gillette Blacks. So far, the blades last about a week, which is excellent for me.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Yeah I used one this morning that already had 4 shaves on it, and I had no issues. I love these blades!

Yes, these same to have pretty good lasting power--4-5 good shaves versus 3 tops for a Gillette Yellow.

I suppose you mean these blades?

Indian Gillette 7'O Clock Super Platinum. Excellent blade. I just used one for 10 shaves, the same number I get from a Gillette "Swede".

Six easy, for me, and probably more if I wanted. Great blades. I'm itching to try out the Russian Blues, someday.

They lasted me 4 and I think I tossed it because I had to try the next new blade for me... (astra sp)

For some reason, the black SPs only last three shaves. I get around six from the Blue variant made in Russia.

The black Super Plats last 4-5 shaves for me. I usually only get two or three out of other blades.

just out of curiosity, are you guys who get 4-5+ shaves out of a blade shaving every day?

No my max is usually 3 but I just tossed my Gillette yellow (2 horrible shaves) and loaded a Gillette spatzenaz (blue sp) and it was an amazing 1st shave

Yes (except for Fridays), I shave daily for BBS, 3 passes plus touchups, and typically get 5-6 shaves per blade.
