Here (http://rationalgun.blogspot.com/2011/08/sometimes-just-looking-cool-seems-to-be.html). The four rules of firearms safety? What are those?

I can't envision even a novice shooter spending more than five minute's being witness to something like this happening. It would seem that common sense would set off a huge red light. Once you send a round out of a weapon THERE AIN'T NO BRINGING IT BACK. Should someone be hit by one of these rounds a simple I'm sorry isn't going to cut it

Apparently they are trying to mask it as 'tactical shooting' but twirling around is not tactical, it's stupid. Even in the military, there is a specified direction that you are heading with the gun pointed forwards. With partner advancement, there is a gap between the two so that they can advance forward in a tread-like fashion with at least half of the firing-field unobstructed by the other. While advancing the safety is generally on and the trigger finger is outside of the trigger guard.

That dude with the knives was bad-ass though!

That looked like a bunch of gamer types got together and choreographed a "Wouldn't this be cool?" video. My favorite was right after the knife guy, with the two men facing each other. It looked like a square dance for a militia hootenanny.

Died laughing at 1:43 in the video where the guy holstered then pulled out 2 knives.

Now, im no gun expert, but im pretty sure the ole "fall over and let the guy shoot above me where my head was a second ago" trick is frowned upon by some.

Not me though. It's second only to the "walk in front of the guy firing" trick. That is one of the most tactical.

Its all about being tactical.

I agree. They did not have nearly enough webbing. Everybody knows that webbing makes you more tactical, and hence, a better moron pretend soldier

Generally the loser. The people in the video can be described by only one word...STOOOOOPID!!! I tell people in my classes all the time, "Anyone can call themselves an expert." Guess this video proves my point!

There is so much that's wrong in that video. Technique, safety, one could write pages.

with all of us shooting off at the mouth, (keyboard) its no wonder they deleted stuff from the website. maybe they realized they had gone off half cocked?
striving for a higher caliber is always a good thing. with professionalism targeted in their sights,,,.......awe hell i cant think anymore.

Unless they were on the other side, of course! Then you could just find some effective cover and wait. Chances are they'd all end up shooting each other.

My wife said, "I wouldn't let those idiots train my dog!" after she saw the video. How dumb can you be? I mean really?

i was so wanting to see two of them lock arms at the elbow and spin in a circle while shooting. that may have to wait for the advanced technique video to be released. morons. how long did it take to choreograph that?

This was actually one of the good parts if you ask me. They overdid it in my opinion, but checking your flanks and scoping out the area snaps you out of tunnel vision. In a combat setting, you also need to check if your buddies are okay and if there are more bogies coming at you.

You can do it with much less flair and energy, but it's an excellent principle. There's nothing more comforting (well, I'm sure SOME things would be more comforting) in a live-rounds situation than looking your buddy in the eye and getting a nod, and realising that he/she's looking out for you. Be it a training or mission situation.

I agree with this I was trained to look around after I pulled the trigger but just not as crazy as they were. To me it looks like they were trying to show there way was better by exaggerating the head turning.

I just joined yesterday so forgive my lateness to this party...

Holy crap ... how many actually survived the training?
I am trained in dynamic entry - tatical shooting and a whole list of other stuff Semper Fi...

Knife boy is awesome...

So down to basics... "Train with professionals"

Really - so then why on every reload the person held onto their mag, thus changing their combat grip on their pistol
Pros - really - notice the long black hair girl... missed her reload - had to hit it twice to keep the mag in - if you practice with weighted mags - this never happens
Notice same girl - had to look at her gun, did not knwo she was out - did not feel the lock back or knwo how many bullets sent down range.... Perfect time for a sniper to remove you from teh breeding pool

Normally - each and every person on a dynamic entry team has a field of fire vector that is their own, notice on this how every single team members must shoot the same target - pulling loaded weapons across their team mates bodies

This reminds me very much of the Hostage rescue team from Niger (west African nation). This team had a live hostage situation on a plane at the airport - comercial jet liner. final tally was mutiple hostages shot by the rescuers, a stun gernade went off in the cargo pocet of one of the rescuers, two of them fell out of the plane doorway to the tarmac, and another had his hand blown off by his team mate while shooting a hostage.

They did get the hi jackers - well most of them anyway, they shot more pasengers than hi jackers and their own team was severly messed up...

They must have trained with these professionals...

BTW the whole looking around thing... really does not work well.. as the armed assailant in front of you may have gone down with two rounds to the chest - he/she is still armed, and taking your eyes off that armed threat before knowing for certain that the threat has been eliminated is death waitin to happen to you. If your part of a team - your team mates will be looking around for you while you watch the weapon. Looking around works really well on paper targets... in real life - watch the weapon, and the hand the holds it.

Crap like this gives proper training a very bad name... I agree with whoever said resident evil trained them...

Ok ok I will get off the soap box now - sorry for the rant

Assuming they make it out of the training course and out where the snipers are ...

Sending way too many rounds in too many directions with too many other people and weapons in close proximity. This will eventually end very badly. And after their owner's bonehead statement, "we do dangerous things" in the opening of their main page video, they will get cleaned out in a wrongful death lawsuit. If you want to teach these kind of stupid "tactical" moves there are plenty of training systems and munitions available that won't actually get someone killed when you inevitably screw up something as moronic as the, "I'll fall down so you can shoot the target in front of me" move. Using live ammunition for this kind of crap is beyond idiotic.

Oh, and who can forget, "the objective is more important than your own life"? Classic, especially for a company that lists the following as its main student base:

*Men and women needing basic defensive handgun skills.
*Average citizens with solid defensive handgun skills who desire to improve their weapon skills dramatically in the shortest period of time.
*Anyone wanting to learn and/or enhance their rifle and shotgun skills in a combat environment.
*Military personnel needing to bolster the rudimentary training that they receive prior to their deployment.
*Law enforcement candidates and officers, after their departmental training has failed them, who need our specialized help to pass their qualifications course.
*Military personnel and law enforcement officers seeking to attain the highest levels of combat skills, enhance their own survivability, and gain an advantage for future promotions.

See all comments above regarding video games and Hollywood action heroes for my take on these knuckleheads.
