Just received one of these, took it apart to clean and, klutz that I am, couldn't get it back together. Tried for over an hour and finally got it somewhat back together, but now the head swivels when I try the TTO, sometimes the "butterfly" doors won't open without some unscrewing, futzing around with it, and the doors are a little loose when you close it without a blade in it. With a blade, it tightens up, but still a little loose.

Have I FUBARed it? If so, is there a fix?

When it's made by man it can be fixed by man, so maybe you need to go back to the drawing board and see what it is that you might not have done correctly.
