Love my Super Speed BUT.....

I have a silver flare tip SS that gives me a great shave. I would love to find a razor that had more weight to it but the same aggressiveness as the Silver SS. Any Ideas Gents?:confused1

Try a Gillette Slim or Fatboy.

How about the Merkur HD, or Parker R91?

If new is ok, I would look into the EJ DE89. It is in the same league as far as blade gap, but has a bit more weight to it.

You could also try a British Aristocrat Jr. they were quite hefty and they shave like the SS.

My Weishi gunmetal model is a bit heftier and a knockoff of my Super Speed. Note, the SS is of much better quality but the Weishi does work.Also, Weishi makes similar-looking models of different materials. The aluminum model is considabull lighter!

Why not add some weight to your razor?

The flare knob is hollow and you should see a screw head in it. Glue a magnet in it, or melt some solder into it. You could probably get a few grams into it.

A magnet would be cool like an Eclipse. Then you could pick up razor blades without touching them.

Look for a Rocket and be patient.
