There is a web site, Glenn's Pens that is a great source of information on inks. It explains everything you would to know from reviews of almost ever ink to how to mix to what acid and alkaline levels means. You can find the web site here. GLenn's Pens - Fountain Pen Ink (http://www.marcuslink.com/pens/ink/index.htm)

I wish the mods would see fit to pin this for easy reference.

It is a great reference for sure.

It's easy enough to bookmark this. I find checking the ink reviews at FPN is always helpful.

Too many stickies seems to make for a clumsy forum IMO.

Ha! Glens pens site states that baystate blue will stain a stainless steel sink.... I let the ink sit on my sink for 3 days it came right off with orange degreaser and a soft sponge. I got it on my finguers, next days shower took it right off.
