My boyfriend who is ADDICTED to vintage shaving has persuaded me to join. He tells me there are many benefits of wet shaving for women as well. Just wondering if there are any ladies out there that can give me any insight?
Thanks! :)

http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/Leg_shaving may help, and the FAQ is also a good reference.

There are a lot of women members on this board. I am sure they will be along shortly. In the mean time ask any questions you may have take a good look around and welcome to the greatest forum on the planet. There is a great article in the WIKI on leg shaving but I sure can't find it.

My wife is almost a convert. It really hit her a few weeks ago, when she paid $24 for a pack of carts. I mentioned that I just got a year's worth of blades for half that cost, and was spending the balance on fru-fru smelly aftershave. That made her jealous.
Start with some good save cream. I started her with the AoS Rose kit. Those products have done wonders for her skin, so she says. She's still uneasy with a DE, but it's just a fear/confidence thing. After a few tries, she's yet to cut herself. She's just nervous it might happen.
I ran her questions back to this forum, and got a lot of feeback. Watch for Barber Elle (sp?), she helped a lot. There were rumors she was making tutorial video. I'm not sure what become of it... ?

Meh...my wife still insists on buying those Gillette disposables with the lube strip. I've mentioned dozens of times about the 'lady Gillette' etc but she thinks it's just plain wierd, go figure.

Being the pilot of your own landing strip has to be worth while.
