Yeah I know! Most times I find a blade in a razor I buy, my response mis more like EW! GROSS! THen I attempt to dispose it as quickly and efficiently, and with as little handling as possible, but the other day I was surprised to come across one I (fleetingly) considered using.
It's this razor I bought off ebay so I could get the nifty miniature dopp, but as you can see the razor looks NOS with the original cardboard still in it. when I opened it up I found a Personna 74 blade in it which looks brand spanking new and unused. Now between the fact that I'm intrigued to try this mythical blade, and the fact that it sure LOOKS new, I was indeed tempted to try it.
The thing is that even at the insane prices these things are going for, it's not really THAT tough to come up with a known new one, so it really isn't worth the risk. I'm not really that tempted, but on the other hand I do sort of hate to banish it to the depths of my blade bank knowing it may actually be brand new
