Hi guys,
I've got a Gillette TTO razor with a bent head... let me see if I can describe it:

If you place the razor on its side on a flat surface and look directly down on it the head is slightly bent to one side. which is to say the head is not perpendicular to the handle.

When the silo doors are open the head is slightly loose but not when the TTO is tightened. Because of the bend the silo doors seem to be at weird funky angles but when it's tightened down they come into the correct juxtaposition.

It doesn't seem to effect the shave as the blade gaps are okay. In fact it shaves very well! If anything perhaps the slight bend gives it a "Slant" type effect. I'm concerned that while it shaves great now, is the looseness somehow progressive over time?

So my questions are these:
1. What could have caused this?
2. Is it repairable?
3. If you bought this to shave with, and the seller didn't disclose the bend...would you keep it or return it?

1. I would suggest that it was dropped and damaged.
2. No idea.
3. It would depend on their description of the condition.

Just wondering, if you don't mind me asking, but was the seller t***b*****15**? Because a lot of the pics I have seen from this seller seem to show bent silo doors but there is no mention of damage. I am looking at one right now that looks this way so I just sent him an email asking about bent doors. I'll see what they say. Didn't want to put full ebayer name, not sure if it's acceptable to do that but if that is who you bought from, you recognize the initials :001_rolle

Fast response from seller who assures me no dents. So maybe a new addition to come, just for research of course for the benefit of others  I know it's a great sacrifice but, hey, sometimes a person just has to step up and take one for the team

No, not the same seller.
The pictures of this razor were not demonstrative of the defect. I also don't think the seller was aware. We are in a conversation about what to do.
