This week I got;
From trades/forum purchases
1 Merkur HD (to replace my Merkur Classic)
1 tub Vulfix Sandalwood
1/2 tub Vulfix lavender
1 tub eshave citrus
From local purchases
1 bottle Masters Musk aftershave
1 bottle Masters Bay Rum aftershave 1 bottle black opal razor bump recovery complex (been looking for this for a while)
and finally, after 3 months of waiting.....
1 SIMPSON MAJOR TRAVEL BRUSH IN SUPER - I recently bought one of these and it ended up being a major shedder. First just a few hairs a shave, then 5-10, then 15-20 and I decided to quit using it. Contacted Simpson, and other than having to wait 3 months, they took care of me and sent me another one free of charge. Excellent excellent excellent service from Simpson, didn't even have to send the old one back or provide a proof of purchase. I couldn't be happier.

I got a Major Super a little while ago, and it shed a grand total of one hair in well over a dozen shaves, so I think it's a keeper. I was worried about shedding when getting it, but Simpson can make a good brush ... and take care of a bad one! Great brush, BTW!!

My dear brother, who barely shaves with a Sensor and thinks I'm wacky for using a DE, is also an avid supporter of my habit. He recently showed up at my house declaring that he had just visited the annual church flea market and then, from behind his back, he produced a baggie containing a long-handled Super Adjustable and several packages of vintage UK Wilkinson blades, four of which are pictured below. I tried one this morning and they are absolutely wonderful. They go through whiskers like a hot knife through butter.

Yesterday's mail from Jim at Vintage along with nice note. Also acquired the QED Lemon Cedarwood shave stick in a trade for MB Green Irish Tweed Type shave stick. Can't wait to try the CF and DR Harris samples. I will try the Progress as is for awhile and then more than likely will modify it to a Mergress.

A fellow B&B'er gave me this. It smells great. Note on the bottle it says to use as a cologne, aftershave or hair lotion. It's about 30 years old. Also, there was a registered mail receipt in my mailbox. Looks like the Wilky shave sticks are in from Poland. Got to get to the post office first thing tomorrow!

From my local C&E mall location...
1 tube Sweet Almond Oil SC
(The clerk has heard nothing about it being discontinued.)
2 "scotto sized" sample tubs of Sienna SC
(I sniffed Nomad SC intending to get a sample and couldn't stand the smell)
1 "scotto sized" sample of C&E's "skin calming" post-shave cream (the clerk's suggestion)
1 bottle of the new West India Limes cologne (a very light, woodsy-earthy citrus cologne. very nice, but doesn't last very long)
In today's mail, an ebay score:
4 tubes WARS SC from Poland

SWMBO felt like some Jamaican patties and pineapple soda. So i went over to our local west-indian market, only to find that regularly carry M&L's Florida Water and McLas Mentholed Bay Rum splash. So i get home, all excited. She can't stand the smell, once this bottle is done with, no more... :blushing:
The McLas is awesome though. yoopie!

Picked up both of these Injectors from the US. A type G and a type E.
http://badgerandblade.com/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=7974
I prefer the type E, the build quality is a lot better.

The plating is almost completely worn away where it meets the handle but as it's possibly 60 to 70 years old I don't think that's too bad.
