Up to date I've only used one puck of soap until it's gone, and then buy something else. Now I'm starting to expand my collection and soap options I wonder:
Where do you keep all your "active" soaps? Do you have a separate mug for each type of soap you are currently using? I'm about to order a couple, and don't know what I'm going to do with them.

I only have 2 active pucks. Both are in oversized coffee mugs but I only load my brush in the cup then I lather up in a SS bowl that I use. Other soaps and creams I just keep in the containers in which they came.

I usually keep two soaps in rotation. Since I was looking for a more unique countertop container to keep them in, I epoxied the lid of one empty MWF ceramic bowl to the bottom of another so that I would have a 'double-stack' MWF ceramic soap bowl setup.
There is a much more common (and affordable) route to go though - some gents use a set of stacking coffee mugs (http://www.worldmarket.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3596434) to house a large soap rotation.
I use stackable glass ramakins. Mugs would take up too much space for the number of soaps in my rotation.

All my soaps are in rotation and I keep them in their supplied wooden bowls, except for the Italian soft soaps that I store in sealed containers.

I am lucky- I have my own bathroom. I have DR Harris Arlington, Speick, MB Phoenix, Arko, Tabac, Benton Clay Vetiver Paradisi, Williams, and VDH all on one shelf. Aftershaves products on another. I have one more shelf for soap expansion- just waiting on funds.

All of my 5 soaps are in rotation and I keep them in the extra soap containers you can purchase from Mama Bears. They work great.

All my soaps/creams are in rotation (10+). If the soap doesn't come in a container, I use the 'disposable' type ziploc containers which are about 5 for $3.00. Usually remove the label or cut out the pic from the package and use packing tape to laminate it on the lid of the container.

Yes, ziploc XS work well for every soap puck I've tried. They aren't the most beautiful containers in the world, but they are cheap, they stack well, and they are available in a couple of colors. Transferring labels is a nice idea: I just write on the side with a sharpie.

Same as me. Except some of the soaps come in plastic bowls.

I am a certifiable soap slut with delusions that I'll someday get my SSAD under control.
These Pyrex 1 cup containers work great. They seal nicely and stack very well. About 8-9 dollars for a 4 pack at Wally World.

I use masking tape on the side of the glass for a label. Functional if not pretty.

IKEA sells a food container named Grundtal (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80102919) it has a magnet on his back so that you can "stick" it on a metal surface.
Whenever I buy a soap refile I use an "IKEA-Mug"
Another good idea is to use old Tabac mugs everytime I buy a new Tabac shaving cream I do not buy a refile but a soap in a mug so I can use the old Tabac mug to sore other soaps.
But if you have a lot of soaps in your rotation it might pass a lot of time before you have used all of your Tabac soap.

Pretty much the same thing.

Yep, this is exactly what I have done. The Ziploc even tolerates the microwave melting process for a nice custom fit.
I have five active soaps right now and go to whatever I please.

All of these suggestions look quite promising. Especially the Pyrex, because I just love Pyrex. Not that I'm going to be baking the soap, but still.

Have yet to try Tabac, though I'm growing increasingly curious.
Thanks again, everybody!!

Do it. You won't be sorry. Because some people don't like the scent, I didn't expect to and kinda didn't at first. Now I'm tempted to taste the lather before putting it on my face. I wanna eat that stuff it smells so good!

Tony,
I have way too many soaps/cremes. 90% of the soaps I have came with the bowls. For the ones that didn't, I went to Ross and got me a few of these "Creme Brulée" type dishes. I am very happy with them. They even come in different sizes. They were 2 for $2.99 or something.
