I will be attempting to get into a little shape again here soon. I'm wondering if the early morning jog will affect my morning shave? The sweat always has an irritating effect on my skin, so I won't be able to shave until afterwards. I will wait until after the shower, but I will likely still be flushed and prone to sweat a bit in the warm bathroom.
Anyone have experience with this?

I would think that the sweat would help soften the hair. I can't imagine it would do any harm.

I like to ride my Schwinn Airdyne in the mornings and I don't have problem getting BBS shave, if that helps. I live in Houston, TX and and the high humidity makes perspiring heavily an easy thing to do. I just take cool shower and I'm fine.

...I live just outside of Houston and run roughly an hour or so in the mornings. I leave a towel on the front doorstep for when I arrive home, and lately have taken to wringing my socks out, even when it is not raining (which I now miss terribly). After a post-run breakfast shake and a cool shower I have an easy time shaving. Total time from end of run to shave - maybe 25-30 minutes or so.

My shaves post workout are always better than without exercising. The blood is flowing, some good oils have come to the surface, and the whiskers are swollen and ready for the blade.

Wait till I tell the guys at the gym that they need a post-workout shave in addition to their post-workout nutrition!
