Well I've finally collected Fatboys from 58'-61' with some duplicate years along the way. My favorite in both build and shave quality has to be the 58'. Not allot of difference between 58'-60' enough though for me to award 58' 1st place.
The 61' doesn't seem in the same class. The in hand feel seems completely different, but the shave is still nice. Anyone else notice any difference? Any fav years? Thanks, Dan

I like the fatboys that have the "thin" black ring just under the adjustment knob, as opposed to the "thick" black band ones. I forget which came first.

I have a mint unused '59 and a user '59. Just won a '61 on the bay. So right now, '59, but we'll see about the '61! Also have '62 and '64 Slims. All great razors!

Well, congrats anyway! Well fought, etc. Beat me in the last 6 seconds. There's bunches of 'em left, even a gold G4 coming up...

So, do you have one from each year, or do you have each quarter from each year??

Oops! Sorry, Fritz, I didn't know that was you! Well, not to rub it in or anything, but $34.01 was my highest bid. If you had bid 2 cents more, you would've gotten it!

No problemo. There's still a lot more out there. Actually, there's a BIN for $32-something that might be a last resort.....
As a consolation prize, I just got this little cutie (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBI%3AIT&viewitem=&item=180137165846&rd=1&rd=1) for $0.99 and $2.49 shipping...

There are some deals. My mint unused one (E1 in perfect case with cellophane wrap still on the blade package) was less than thirty bucks! I don't know how that one slipped under. I saw one go for over a hundred that wasn't as nice.

One from each year, I've got duplicates from each year except 61'. I didn't start out to collect any razors at all, now there are quite a few...
