What do you do when you have about four minutes to shave. When I am in a rush I do not like to DE. In this situation I will use the Schick Extreme 3 and Jack Black Beard Lube.

I never allow that to happen!:biggrin: But if I am a bit short on time, I go with two with the grain passes and be done with it.

I should add that I make it a point to shave at night. It's something I can get away with, and enjoy to the fullest!

Splash some hot water on face...pump some KMF on fingers...vigorously massage into whiskers (no brush)...one pass with DE...done in under 4.

If I need a 'quickie' 2 minute shave I use King of Shaves ASC gel. I then crank up my Futur to 3 (normally I use 1.75) with a Swedish Gillette and shave in one pass. It produces an acceptable shave but nowhere near as close or as much fun as my usual shave.

Same here. It also gives any redness or irritation a chance to go down overnight.

That's my first thought too. Right before bed, and if something happens that I know for sure I'll need to shave in the afternoon or early evening the next day, I'll adjust my shave the night before and mybe skip the ATG pass.

Thank you guys for your input. Next time that I am in a rush I will try a one WTG pass with the Futur set at 2.5 or 3.

I've been known to do a two-WTG-pass shave, but usually, if I can't shave fully, I'll wash my face with the shaving cream and brush and put on my aftershave. My face doesn't feel right if I don't at least do that.

In a real rush using Williams Shaving Oil (which I'm guessing is something like the beard lube) takes very little time. I'd probably pick up my Mach3 as well, since I've just started with DE shaving and wouldn't dream of trying to rush that. ;)

Musgo Real rubbed in real quick, Slim opened to 9 and 1 pass with the grain.

But seriously-- just wake up earlier.

Musgo Real applied by hand, once over with the straight, cold water splash and then aftershave. Good to go!

when given that choice it is easy, I slap on cologne and leave the razor for the next day.

I would use an electric but I found my shaves leave little for the electric to grab the next day.

the nice thing about DE shaving is it grows in nice and evenly
