comments requested Perry Ellis vs Ferragamo

Does anyone have any experience with Perry Ellis Reserve or basic Ferragamo colognes? Are they at all similar? What type of staying power?

I don't know anything about Perry Ellis but I picked up a bottle of Ferragamo's Ungaro-III at TJ Max's for half price and I happen to think it smells great and its really hard for me to find a cologne I think doesn't stink to high heaven.

I haven't tried the Ferragamo, but I find I dislike the Perry Ellis base scent on me. Reminds me of pencil shavings. Of course, this will be a very individual thing.

I've never tried the Ferragamo but the Perry Ellis Reserve I like. I'm not really a fan of some of his other scents though.

the Ferragamo is sutile scent. I tried it at Nordstroms. I like it.
