I wish I had seen this before I bought my 28mm Thater. I really wanted a 30 but they were unavailable. Maybe I'll take a hit on the price and buy the 30. Hmmmm, I see that BullGoose also has a 31mm.

I placed an order as well, then e-mailed Phil as to some confusion over the knot sizes he shows vs the Thater site.

The 49125/3 on Phil's site says that it is a 30mm. However the Thater site has it as a 28mm.

As an aside, I see that the 4125/4 is listed as 30 on Thater and 31 on Bull Goose.

Thater most likely measures the base of the knot which sits below the base of the handle. I measured the knot at the base of the handle using a caliper. As a result, the measurement I get is larger than the measurement reported by Thater. It is the same knot...just measured at a different place. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will carry the Thater 0 eventually. I just placed a second order with Thater (that did not include the 0) but will pick up the 0 with the following order. I was going back and forth with it this time around and actually already have a name picked out...the demi stout.

I actually located a distributor for the Italian Floids (both blue and amber) yesterday. Now I have to figure out if it makes economic sense. The main problem is that those bottles are very heavy and it costs a lot to ship them.

I have samples of most of the Trumper colognes. When you place an order just let me know which cologne(s) you want to sample and I will do my best to accommodate. I periodically run out so cannot promise I'll have the sample you are looking for.

The Trumper hair dressings are tonics with varying amounts of hold and great scents.

The Sport is probably the most strongly scented of the Klar Rasierseife and it is kind of a cologne scent. The description is a floral blend with leather notes and I guess that is accurate.

This was a first for me as well. I do not know if this is their new process or if it was a one batch oddity.
