Love at first shave

Well, I've been using my new Futur for a few days now, and I have to say I'm in love! When I went from goop shaving to wet shaving, my Mach3 became almost livable. But now that I have a DE, I gotta say there is No comparison.

As an added bonus, my wife has started making excuses to come up and sniff me! :thumbup: Definitely a bonus unintended consequence.

I'm looking forward to my blade sampler pack arriving, as I can tell the Merkurs I bought with the Futur aren't sharp enough for my beard. While I'm not up to Atalantic Cable standards, sometimes it feels that way! The various ideas I've read on B&B have definitely helped with that, but I think a sharper blade is in order.

Sounds as though you're making excellent progress. The Futur is a great razor with exceptional acoustics. When you use a sharper blade, you can hear it sing as you shave. (At some point later on, you might want to try a Slant, just for variety.)
