Just finished a mini tour of the Sampler Pack. Where can I get the Sweedes on a regular basis? I like these, but if I can't get them, I'll shoot for the Feathers.

The English Shaving Company has them also.

Hmmmm. Is that new? I could have sworn I talked to him about this when I brought the sample pack...
Looks good to me. I'm going to give the Feathers a shot in the slant before I make the plunge

I have lost my Swedes. Either they have fallen down into the mess in my bathroom drawer or I have accidentally thrown them away.
Being old has its disadvantages.

Weston's (http://www.westons.com/cgi/sh000247.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2ewestons%2ec om%2facatalog%2fsearch%2ehtml&WD=gillette&PN=Online_Catalogue_Gillette_Platinum_17877%2ehtml %23aGIL53B#aGIL53B) has generally been the best price. $44.33 shipped, for $50. They also mention available in multiples of 20, so perhaps the price is cheaper that way - the page does not say.
John's West Coast Shaving would be cheaper though. That's new. Does anyone know if the price includes shipping? Regardless, that is going to be your best bet.
The Gillette Platinums from edit that Brian mentions are not the same. The packaging is almost exactly the same, and the blades are probably pretty good, but they aren't the Swedes. (Also, I imagine West Coast is still cheaper - depends on shipping).

Paul,
So they are. Please accept my humble apologies for speaking out of turn. Some crossed wire in my head, I guess.

I just bought some Platinum Gillettes while in Italy. They came in a white cardboard box with blue lettering saying "Gillette Platinum" and this is on a blue card with white lettering saying the same. Are these the same and, if not, what are they?

I don't know to be honest. It is possible they are real swedes, because it's not the packaging it's the blade. Give them a try!

Check if it has the same EAN-code as the pack in suffolksupplies post, if it does then you know for sure it is.

I just jumped on this deal(the 50 gillettes) and picked up 25 wilkinson swords too.
Today, I came to the realization that everything I've tried is vastly inferior to the gillette Swede.
I had a Derby Extra tear my face off on the first pass.:crying: (I've been using derby's for about 5 months now.BTW)
I switched it out for a gillette, ended up with the best shave this month.:badger:

Wow, Thanks to letterK, John, for doing this, and Doc, Will, for pointing it out. I love my Swedes, but hated hunting around European web sites to order them, mostly due to postage, and additional AD's on the English Shaving website.
